  • Lightweight design can be mounted on walls or set up as an immersive home entertainment system for living space.

Our Concerns:

  • The TV is prone to glare if it’s not placed near a window, so you’ll need to find a different location for it.
  • The remote control is very basic, with an on/off button and a volume slider that’s difficult to find in the dark if you have no other lights on.

SAMSUNG QN43Q60AAFXZA 43-Inch QLED 4K Smart TV

The Samsung QN43QAAFXZA 4K Smart model is a great TV for the price. It has some of the best features on any high-end television at this time, which includes direct LED backlighting and QLED technology to produce vivid colors with extremely deep blacks. The images are clear and detailed right out of the box.

SAMSUNG 43-Inch Class QLED Q60A Series - 4K UHD Dual LED Quantum HDR Smart TV with Alexa Built-in...

I was able to connect my cable box, Blu-ray player, Xbox One S, Chromecast Ultra, Apple TV (fourth generation), and Roku Streaming Stick all without an issue.

With both 1080p or 720p HD settings, it produces excellent picture quality that’s beyond what you might see in a store display model even if they were set up correctly so there should be no surprises waiting for you when your product arrives at home.

The remote is excellent and very intuitive, with the voice search function being especially handy. The remote will show a text feed of what you’re actually saying in some cases which means that it might be worth getting used to talking out loud when searching instead of typing everything out on your phone or tablet screen if you can help it.

The major downside for this one is that there are no advanced settings available in the menu systems at all so those who want more control over their TV may need to look elsewhere because they won’t find anything here except for HDMI ports, USB connections, audio outputs, network/Wi-Fi connectivity options like Ethernet or Wi-Fi Direct that’s built into the hardware itself as well as Bluetooth support. Personally, I would have liked to see at least the ability to customize some settings like brightness, color options, and contrast.

Additionally, there is a built-in noise reduction system that helps give your voice natural clarity which leads me to believe that this might be an option for people who are looking for something that will help them communicate better with someone else in their home or office remotely without having to use Skype or another type of service such as a phone conference call line because it’s already installed on this TV.

What We Like:

  • HDMI ports are plenty for future usage of a gaming console or other devices that require an HDMI port.
  • The TV is able to project images from up to 16 feet away and it does so without any discernible lag or stutter which makes the experience very smooth.

Our Concerns:

  • There’s no option to change contrast, brightness, color options, etc on the device itself nor can you customize them through your computer like with some TVs. This might be something they’ll fix in later models but as far as this one goes I was not impressed by this lack of functionality.

VIZIO M50Q7-H61 50-inch 4K LED Smart TV

The Vizio M50Q7-H61 4K LED Smart model is a great TV for its price point. It has great features and an excellent display that is perfect for watching movies or playing games on it, with no lag time whatsoever.

VIZIO 50 Inch 4K Smart TV, M7-Series Quantum 4K UHD LED HDR Television with Apple AirPlay and...

The VIZIO M50Q-H61 50″ LED Smart TV offers users plenty of viewing options, including three HDMI ports, two USB inputs, as well as built-in WiFi connectivity to stream content from the Internet without any buffering delays.

This television also comes preloaded with all the popular apps like Netflix and Hulu Plus so you can watch your favorite shows right out of the box!

This year’s model still includes some older ports as well such as RGB input (SCART), component video input (YPbPr) outputs. When connected to a sound system, it has a built-in digital optical output as well.

What We Like:

  • Superior picture quality with vibrant colors and deep blacks.
  • Powerful processor for fast gaming performance.
  • Sleek design that will fit in any room of the house.

Our Concerns:

  • Expensive price tag (though not higher than other high-end TVs)

Sony X800H 43-inch 4K Smart LED TV

This Sony X800H 4K Smart LED TV is a big improvement over the X700E, with better colors and contrast ratio which are very important for HDR content. It’s also considerably brighter than other models in this range, so it will work well even if you don’t have total black-out curtains.

Sony X800H 43-inch TV: 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV with HDR and Alexa Compatibility - 2020 Model

That said, if your room isn’t completely dark then I’d recommend looking at something else because there’s no type of backlight regulation to help keep bright objects from illuminating dim areas on the screen while watching videos or playing games.

The USP of this model is its new Android operating system that features Google Assistant built right into the remote control as well as a voice-activated TV. The remote control is also the best I’ve used from Sony so far, with good buttons and slides that are easy to use without looking at them.

It has decent sound quality but not for people who prefer high-fidelity audio in their living room – it can be tinny or distorted depending on what you’re listening to. And there’s no headphone jack either, which could have been useful if you want to watch something late at night while your family members sleep (it does offer Bluetooth connectivity though).

The stand itself is excellent – sturdy and weighty enough to keep the TV steady even when someone leans against its side – and offers an array of connection options including three HDMI ports, two USB ports, and a headphone jack.

What We Like:

  • HDR compatible
  • Dolby Vision
  • Game Mode for a more responsive gaming experience with less blur and stutter.

Our Concerns:

  • Lack of high-quality display leading to low visual clarity, color saturation makes everything look like they were taken out of a cartoon
  • The sound isn’t great
